Pamulang University was founded in 2000 by the Prima Jaya Foundation, chaired by Drs. Wayan. However, due to various obstacles and challenges that were not easy to manage, the ownership and management was transferred to the Sasmita Jaya Foundation in early 2004, led by Dr. (HC) Drs. H. Darsono. After changing management, the goals that Pamulang University wanted to achieve also changed, namely creating education that was cheap and affordable for all levels of society without forgetting quality. Pamulang University provides a blended lecture pattern, namely a combination of face-to-face and online lectures with a ratio of 60 percent face-to-face, 40 percent online, supported by various facilities such as air-conditioned lecture rooms, laboratories, libraries both print and e-book, auditorium , teaching industry, etc.
