Schwäbisch Gmünd University of Applied Sciences for Design (HfG) - public higher education institution in Germany. The history of HfG can be traced back to1776 . The main building of the university is located in Schwabisch Gmund inside an urban campus. 500 students attend Schwäbisch Gmünd University of Applied Sciences for Design which puts it in the group of small universities in the classification. Both citizens and foreigners are able to apply. About 50 teachers and professors are employed by HfG. During studies the students have the opportunity to participate in the international exchange programs.
