Medan Poltekpar (Medan Tourism Polytechnic) formerly known as the Medan Tourism Academy (Akpar Medan) is a higher education institution under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism while technically academically it is managed by the Ministry of National Education. As a government-owned higher institution, Poltekpar Medan aims to prepare professional staff in the tourism sector as national assets of international quality, creative, entrepreneurial spirit, Indonesian personality and noble character.
