Ambarrukmo Tourism College (STIPRAM) Yogyakarta was founded in 2001 with the name at that time AMBARRUKMO TOURISM ACADEMY (AKPRAM) Yogyakarta. At that time, AKPRAM had a single study program, namely the Hospitality Study Program, with a Hospitality major for diploma three (D-3) level. In 2004, AKPRAM received accreditation from BAN-PT with a grade of B and in line with the rapid development of tourism in Indonesia, at the beginning of 2008, tourism was approved by the government as a SCIENCE and does not rely on other fields of science. So in 2008, AKPRAM increased its status to AMBARRUKMO TOURISM HIGH SCHOOL (STIPRAM) by adding a Hospitality study program majoring in Hospitality for the STRATA-SATU (S1) level. Along with the level of public trust in STIPRAM, the accreditation has increased to 'A' for both the Hospitality and Hospitality/Tourism study programs.
