In the 2013/2014 academic year, ISI Denpasar, as the executor, was given a mandate by the Director General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture, to organize study programs outside ISI Denpasar's domicile in Papua Province. The mandate for implementing 5 study programs (Prodi), namely: Dance Arts Study Program, Music Arts Study Program, Fine Arts Study Program, Arts Crafts Study Program, and Visual Communication Design Study Program. The 5 study programs mentioned above are the embryos of the ISBI Tanah Papua study program from the 12 study programs that will be held.
