Syiah Kuala University (abbreviated as USK, previously Unsyiah) is a university that was established on September 2, 1961 and is located in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. The campus is 8 km east of Banda Aceh City, 22 km from Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport, and 10 km from Malahayati Harbor in Krueng Raya. Currently, USK is the best university on the island of Sumatra. USK previously had a status as a Public Service Agency PTN (PTN-BLU) and has been upgraded to a Legal Entity PTN (PTN-BH)
