Bandar Lampung University (UBL) is the largest private university in Lampung Province, which was founded in 1984 under the auspices of the Lampung Administration Foundation (YAL) , which at that time was chaired by Drs. RM.Barusman . The Lampung Administration Foundation is a foundation engaged in the education sector, which in 1972 also founded the Tanjungkarang Business Administration Academy (AAN) , which later changed its name to the Bandar Lampung Academy of Secretary and Management (ASM) .
