The Film Academy Baden-Württemberg is a Founded in 1991 film academy in Ludwigsburg , which is run as a non-profit GmbH with the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg as the sole shareholder. Albrecht Ade was the founding director . Since 2005 it has been led by Thomas Schadt as director and managing director. The more than 450 students make around 250 films of all film genres every year . The students are looked after by over 300 professionals from the film and media industry.
