Pembangunan Jaya University (UPJ) is a private university in the Bintaro area which was founded in 2011 and is supported by the Pembangunan Jaya business group. The Pembangunan Jaya business group has 17 businesses operating in the fields of property, manufacturing, management consultants, design consultants, contractors, tourism/recreation, trading, mechanical & electrical and education. The Pembangunan Jaya business group has more than 50 years of experience in managing the business sector and intends to devote part of its parent business activities to education in building higher quality Indonesian human resources. This intention has been realized by establishing the Jaya Education Foundation on September 3 1991.
