Starting from the concerns of community leaders and residents of Sidoharjo village, there are no formal education facilities, especially high schools based on Islamic religious education in order to create people who have faith and piety (IMTAQ) to Allah SWT, as well as humans who are knowledgeable and able to master technology (IPTEK) ). Given the very importance of a formal educational institution based on Islamic religious education, the idea arose from community leaders who were interested in education initiated by Dr. Andi warisno, M. MPd, Mr Kodirin, S. Pd. I, Mr H. Muhammad Suwarno, Mr Munajat, Mr Jazim, Mr Sarman, Mr Paino, Mr Imam, and also supported by Mr. Mr. Gunarto, a legal umbrella was established which was named the Hidayatul Mubtadiin Jati Agung Foundation on October 16, 2003.
