About

At its inception Politeknik Neger Bandung was named Politeknik IT for under the management of Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). Then, through the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 085 / 0 / 1997 this institution became an independent institution separated from IT and changed its name into Politeknik Negeri Bandung (abrreviated as Polban).
