About

The Riau Amik College of Informatics and Computer Management (STMIK Amik Riau) is a merger of the first two computer colleges in Riau Province, namely the Riau Computer and Information Management College (STMIK Riau) and the Riau Computer Informatics Management Academy (AMIK Riau). These two universities were founded by the Riau Computing Foundation (YKR). AMIK Riau was founded in 1990, as an answer to the need for computer workers in Riau Province, with a Diploma III education level in the Department of Information Management (permission from the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia No. 0233/0/1990). In 1992, AMIK Riau opened a Diploma I program (permission from the Indonesian Minister of Education and Culture No.0443/Dikti/Kep1992). AMIK Riau was accredited in 2005 with SK.No.014/BAN-PT/Ak-V/DpI-III/XII/2005.
