About

Hasanuddin University's history was begun at Makassar in 1947 as part of the Faculty of Economics of University of Indonesia based on the Decree of the Liutenant General Governor of the Netherlands East Indies Government Number 127 dated July 23, 1947, which during the early years of its establisment had faculties scattered across the archipelago.
