University November 19 (USN) Kolaka is one of the State Universities that is domiciled in the City of Kolaka. This higher education institution was established on April 16, 1984 under the name Kolaka Teaching and Education College (STKIP) under a foundation managing the Kolaka Indonesian Educational Development Foundation (YAPPPIKA) with Deed No. 23 to the notary deed office in Kendari by figures community leaders at the time were H. Nurung, H. Baso Lewa, Drs. H. Muhammadong Maddapy, M. Si and H. Muh. Tahrir.
