Singaperbangsa Karawang University (UNSIKA) is one of the State Universities in West Java Province. Founded on February 2, 1982, located in Karawang Regency. Initially, the higher education institutions fostered by the Pangkal Pangkal Perjuangan Higher Education Foundation were originally the Pangkal Struggle College (PTPP) Karawang consisting of the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Economics which was established on September 5, 1965. And on february 2, 1982 a university was established under the name Singaperbangsa Karawang University. In connection with the requirements for the establishment of the University, there must be an exact exact faculty while Unsika does not yet have an exact exact faculty/department, the UNSIKA Accreditation Status has been postponed. As a consequence, the status of the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Teacher Education changed to the College of Economics and the College of Teacher Training and Education.
